Muon g-2

Obviously the big thing this week is the new measurement of the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon, at Fermilab.

I’ve written about this experiment a few times before, see these articles. I haven’t had time to write anything about the new result yet, and maybe I will now wait until the dust settles a bit. I did talk to Ian Taylor at BBC Science Focus, and he wrote that up as a Bluffer’s Guide”, which you might find useful and/or interesting.
