Geneva Monopoly

Just returned from a couple of weeks at CERN. Saw this in Geneva and had to buy it – you can probably tell why.

Monopoly – Geneva Edition (and a foot).

Monopoly – Geneva Edition (and a foot).

So, CERN is Oxford Street (which, for those of you who don’t know London, is much closer to Bloomsbury than it is to, say, Oxford).

I don’t understand why the Park of the Bastions features three times though. I know they’re proud of Calvin and his mates, but this seems a bit excessive. It can’t be because Geneva is short of notable places, because they haven’t found room for the Bains de Pâquis or the WHO.

This looks much more  worrying than the English version.

ALLEZ EN PRISON. AVANCEZ TOUT DROIT EN PRISON. NE PASSEZ PAS PAR LA CASE DÉPART. NE RECEVEZ PAS CHF200.

So, as a calming final point from a good couple of weeks at CERN, here are some sheep grazing near the antimatter factory.
